Hairstyles

I’ve found that, as I’ve been drawing anime women, the hair makes a huge difference.  I could make the perfect, most symmetrical face but if the hairstyle isn’t larger than life then the sketch loses spirit.  The following drawing shows some hits and misses in terms of hair.

    I love the emotions depicted in the last two drawings. Regardless of the hair-style, you imbue emotions into your figures that peaks a viewer’s interest into their individual characters.
